Locksmith/Access Control Tech

Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of locksmith and/or access control and/or door industry experience to be considered
  • Ability to perform standard work orders for commercial and residential clients
  • Ability to install, repair and maintain Commercial and Residential hardware
  • Card access experience is a huge plus!
  • Ability to install, repair and maintain panic hardware and exit devices

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Respond to a daily schedule of service calls consisting of installation and maintenance of traditional lock systems, card access systems, door services, and CCTV systems for customers/businesses of national service contracts (commercial accounts) and residential needs
    • Scheduled calls will also consist of providing estimates/bids to existing and potential customers
    • Working with management to invoice and manage part orders and inventory needed for jobs
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Should be a team player with excellent organizational skills and a growth mindset
    • A locksmith should have experience in at least one of the areas listed in roles and responsibilities

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    • Ability to use mobile technology to receive and submit information to service call details in our specific work ticket program. This includes entering notes, job site photos, pricing and billing details, and details of services provided on service calls
    • ALOA Certification and or AAADM Certification or any other trade applicable certifications desirable. Please list these in your resume and application

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able to fluently understand, speak and write English
    • Must have clean criminal record and be able to pass a background check
    • Must have clean driving record, no accidents within the past 3 years
    • Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50lbs
    • Ability to kneel, crouch and stoop
    • Ability to reach above and below the shoulders
    • Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp, twist, and pull
    • Withstand external weather conditions year round
